Get ready to dance and groove to inspiring traditional West African music performed by Diabatela and Wounlaba tomorrow, July 14 at Sachkerah Woods Playground in the Bronx! This two-piece band performs music sure to be enjoyed by anyone within earshot.
Last week, Diabatela and Wounlaba performed to a packed park in the Bronx at River Park. Kids just couldn’t stay in their seats; during the second song they were invited to start dancing! Members of the band joined in on the fun; they got right in there and danced with the audience.
Children also got to learn a thing or two about the instruments, and formed impromptu songs with each other.
Diabatela & Wounlaba have four more shows with us this season! You can catch them tomorrow at Sachkerah Woods Playground in Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx at 10:30am, and also on Wednesday at Mt.
