“Coach Gregg gives us homework assignments to help remember what we learned in that day’s lesson. Today we were working on balance. I need to hold the finish of my swing on my right toe for three seconds. It is fun to show my parent what we are learning. You can see the verazano bridge from the Junior Golf Center course, so my mom took the picture as we were walking on the path by the manhattan bridge. The golf center is great because there is real grass on all the holes.”

Since 2000, City Parks Foundation’s CityParks Golf program has provided free lessons to over 12,000 children in parks and ranges throughout the five boroughs.
